Questions
Frequently asked.
Is My TTC free?
Yes. My TTC is free to download and use. An optional My TTC+ subscription ($1.99/month or $6.99/year) removes ads and unlocks home screen widgets.
Which transit agencies does it cover?
TTC, MiWay, Brampton Transit, GO Transit, Durham Region Transit and YRT/Viva, plus Oakville Transit — all in one app, so a trip across city lines stays in one place.
How accurate are the live arrival times?
Arrivals are built from GPS vehicle positions, refreshed every 15 seconds, rather than a static schedule — so the countdown reflects where the vehicle actually is.
What is an arrival alarm?
You pick a stop, and My TTC sends a lock-screen notification timed to when your bus, streetcar or train is actually getting close — not a fixed number of minutes.
Is My TTC available on Android?
Yes, on Google Play. The iOS app requires iOS 17 or later and also supports Apple Vision.
Who makes My TTC?
My TTC is built and maintained by Vasani Technologies Inc., an independent developer. It is not affiliated with the TTC, Metrolinx, or any transit agency it covers.
Does My TTC replace the TTC or GO apps?
It covers the same live data, plus five other GTA agencies, so most riders use it instead of switching between separate agency apps for a multi-leg trip.
